Getting started

Where to begin, what you need and who can join.

I have never programmed before. Where do I start?

Start with AI Foundations if you want to understand and use AI without code, or Python for AI if you want to build. Both need no prior experience. If you want a full path, the Certificate in AI Fundamentals combines them with Data Analysis.

Do I need my own laptop?

Not for campus classes. We provide laptops in class, and every lesson is taught on a large screen. We still recommend a laptop of your own so you can practise at home. For online classes a laptop with 8 GB RAM and a stable internet connection is enough. Heavy work runs on free cloud GPUs.

What age groups do you teach?

Adult courses are open to anyone 18 and above, or 16 and above with a guardian's consent. Junior AI Coders is for ages 10 to 13 and Teen AI Builders is for ages 14 to 17. See kids and parents for more.

When does the next intake start?

The next intake starts on 3 November 2026. After that, classes start on 12 January 2027 and 9 March 2027. See class times and intakes.
